Promises 691-695
691. Promise: God promises that His people will be confident and fearless, even in the face of great adversity.
“Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.” (Psalm 27:3)
692. Promise: God promises to hide His people in His protection and elevate them above their enemies.
“For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will set me high upon a rock.” (Psalm 27:5)
693. Promise: God promises to protect His people from the enemy, raising a standard to defend them.
“When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59:19)
694. Promise: God promises to protect and bring joy to those who seek refuge in Him, allowing them to rejoice in His presence.
“But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.” (Psalm 5:11)
695. Promise: God promises that the plans of the wicked will not prosper against His people.
“Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.” (Psalm 21:11)
